LaKya M. Garrison is a multifaceted woman of God who has pursued her passions in various fields. She was born in Chicago Illinois, but later relocated to Rochester Hills, Michigan. Attending both Baker College and Rochester College obtaining an accredited degree in Business Management while pursuing her degree in Biblical Studies. Career pursuits include the print media, retail management and fashion industries. Working for companies like the Oakland Press and Chicago Tribune, as an advertising executive and Casual Corner and Lane Bryant as retail manager and fashion stylist. She is the founder of Faith Drive Magazine, a publication that launched in 2008 and focused on Christian living.

In 2012, LaKya answered her call to ministry and served as the Christian Living Liaison becoming a licensed minister at New Bethel Missionary Baptist church in 2014. In 2015, she completed her first Christian based romance drama novella Manipulover: Afflictions of the Righteous. In late 2016, Lakya embarked upon a venture in the modeling industry and assumed the stage name Model LaKya. She's modeled in various runway fashion shows for emerging designers from Detroit, Ohio, Chicago, and New York becoming a lead model and brand ambassador. In 2022, she achieved her Image Consultant Certification from the International Association of Professions Career College.
In 2023, Keyola launched. Keyola, meaning The Life, is a project that aims to help people capture and maintain the best version of themselves. LaKya M. Garrison remains a resilient, regal, and faith filled woman of God. Her desire to bless the Lord at all times strengthens every day and her walk of faith in style encourages others to live a more vibrant, God-centered, faith driven life.
